Education & Formation Service Opportunities

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 1 Peter 4:10

Catechists serve a crucial role in educating students in grades preK-8 about the Catholic faith. The role of the Catechist is to share their own faith, help children and young adults discover their faith and help them apply it to their lives. Catechists are provided a leader’s manual, activity sheets, and craft materials that will help them plan lessons to stimulate growth in the Catholic faith.

Catechists teach from September - May on Wednesdays either at the 4:15 or the 6:15 session.

  • Faith Formation Hall Monitor-Monitor halls during Wednesday Faith Formation sessions, September-April.
  • Children’s Liturgy of the Word Leader or Assistant-Read and discuss Sunday readings with children in grades K-4 during weekend Mass all year round.
