The Food Shelf is very grateful for all the donations it receives! Please remember that the Food Shelf does have a refrigerator and freezer to store donations of yogurt, cheese sticks, fresh produce, lunch meat, pizza, ice cream, etc. To donate cash click here.

Volunteers packing snack/meal bags for the Weekend Backpack Program

 

 

Thank you to MAEF (Mahtomedi Area Education Foundation) for supporting our "Weekend Backpack Program".

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

The Mahtomedi Education Association collected donations for the local food shelf at St. Judes this holiday season.  The staff at the schools donated $680 in gift cards to local stores, $590 in cash to be used for the weekend backpack program, 30 pair of mittens and gloves, 40 hats, and 40 Christmas stockings. 

 

Girl Scout Troop  54138

The Troop donated 86 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies for the Food Shelf and came in during their meeting time to volunteer.

 

 The Girls in Troop 56846 visited the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf on Monday April 18th, to learn about how the food shelf work and to make up “Weekend Backpack Bags”.

 

Cub Scout Pack 433 Food Drive

 


 

The Cub Scout Pack 433 held a food drive at Festival Foods. The boys collected 1843 lbs of food for the Food Shelf. Great Job!
