Time for Band!

Beginning band students. All students in grades 4-8 are invited to join the band! Buffy Larson, the St. Jude band director, and the Hill-Murray Parish Schools Band Directors will be coming to St. Jude on Monday, Sept. 13 to demonstrate instruments to all 4th and 5th graders.

We will be having a St. Jude of the Lake parent band information meeting on Monday, Sept. 20 at 8:45 am in Kohler Hall! This meeting will explain the band program as it pertains to St. Jude of the Lake and give you a chance to ask questions and sign your child up to try the instruments. If you are unable to attend this meeting there are several informational meetings held the week of Sept 20 at Hill-Murray High School and St. Mark School in St. Paul. A flyer with this information will be given to your child on September 14.

For returning band students, we will be passing out enrollment information on Sept. 13. The first day of band lessons for returning band students will be on Monday, Sept. 20.
