Discipleship & Evangelization

Core to our parish mission is to be disciples and make disciples of Christ. Within this mission, it is our responsibility to study and learn about Christ and His Church. Then are to teach and share with others.

Adult School of Prayer – Are you passionate about your Catholic faith and want to provide opportunities for adults to grow in prayer, knowledge and as a disciple of Christ? Be part of the team to schedule events, plan and make them happen! Frequency: 1 – 2 meetings per month when planning an event. Time required: varies, meetings 1 – 1-1/2 hrs., 1 – 3 hrs./ week prep time during events.

Faith Studies – Are you passionate about your Catholic faith and want to lead adults in faith studies and/or small groups? This ministry will provide the opportunity to help fellow adult parishioners grow in faith. We provide facilitator materials as well as support for new leaders. Frequency: weekly during bible study series. Time required: prep 1 hr. and the bible study class is 1-1/2 hrs.

Emmaus Women – The Emmaus Ministry begins with an annual weekend retreat and continues with monthly “mini” retreats, for the purpose of growing in faith and a sisterhood of women committed to serving the parish. The Emmaus ministry also presents parish events and fundraisers throughout the year. If you are interested in attending the annual retreat and/or wish to volunteer and assist with Emmaus sponsored events. Frequency: monthly . Time required: 1-2 hrs a month

Respect Life Ministry – As Catholics, we proclaim that human life is a precious gift from God; that each person who receives this gift has responsibilities toward God, self and others; and that society, through its laws and social institutions, must protect and nurture human life at every stage of existence. The Respect Life Ministry works on every level to help educate, support and provide for those who are vulnerable, and influence and effect public policy to restore legal protections for all human beings from conception to natural death.
