Synod Small Groups

Consider joining us for the 1st Small Group Leader
Formation Series at St. Jude of the Lake

Archbishop Hebda has a dream in which all Catholics are in a small group and he dreams this because being in a small group can help our faith become more full to life and help people come to know Jesus better. In the earliest days of the Church small groups helped spread the good news of Jesus and they can do it again today. To help the Archbishop fulfill his dream we will be offering a Small Group Leader Formation Series at our parish this fall. The 7 weeks series will help people determine if they have the gifts to serve a small group or help discern other supporting leadership roles within the small group, such as hospitality or music ministry. Participation in the series does not commit you to lead a small group.

The 7 sessions will be held this fall in Kohler Hall from 6:30 – 8 pm on the following Thursday evenings: September 14, 21, 28, October 5, 12, 26, November 2

Holy Spirit,
renew your wonders in our time,
as though in a new Pentecost,
and grant that this Archdiocese,
united in prayer around Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and guided by St. Peter,
may spread the Kingdom of the divine Savior,
a Kingdom of truth, of justice, of love, and of peace.
Amen.
Saint Paul, our great missionary patron, pray for us!
