Journey of Hope
“ Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give your rest”
Mission: To be a place of healing and support for individuals who have or are experiencing separation or divorce.
Role: To support individuals who have or are experiencing separation and divorce.
Sharing the importance of faith, hope , love through community, sacraments and working through the wounds of life experiences on our own journeys of hope.
Experience and acknowledge Gods unconditional love and mercy despite our brokenness through scripture and prayer.
To understand that this ministry is not a replacement for therapy. There maybe times when professional services from a therapist and or clergy maybe needed, and we are here to assist you with finding resources to meet your individual needs.
Journey of Hope is built on four pillars based on scripture to provide a foundation of Hope during really difficult times.
Pillars:
Faith– a foundation built on scripture/ sacraments rooted in a personal relationship abiding in Jesus Christ
Hope– knowing you are not alone that may feel very lonely. You are beloved child of God, he chose you.
Love – a foundation/ acknowledgement of Gods unconditional love and mercy despite our trials. Jesus said I am the way , the truth and the life.
Community – St Jude mission is a place of healing and though community we are here to listen, support, encourage individuals on their Journey of Hope
