Volunteer Opportunities
Support the Mission and Ministry of St. Jude
At St. Jude of the Lake, our parish is more than a place—it’s a people, a purpose, and a promise to live out the Gospel together. The work we do here—forming young disciples, comforting the grieving, sharing Christ in the Eucharist, and building a vibrant, faithful community—depends on the generous hearts and willing hands of our parishioners.
How Can You Help?
Volunteer
God has given each of us unique gifts, and there’s a place for every gift here. Whether you have a few hours a month or more time to offer, your service makes a difference.
Current Needs:
- Lectors – Proclaim the Word of God and help bring Scripture to life during Mass.
- Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion – Help distribute the Body and Blood of Christ with reverence and humility.
- Funeral Luncheon Team – Be a comforting presence by calling volunteers or helping host luncheons for grieving families.
- Cornfest Committee Volunteers – Help plan and execute our biggest community event of the year. It’s fun, meaningful, and essential to our parish life.
- Catechists for Faith Formation – Share your love of Christ with the next generation. No experience is needed—just a heart for the faith.
You Belong. You Matter. You Are Needed.
By giving and serving, you not only build up the Body of Christ, you also grow in joy, purpose, and connection. Whether through a donation or a helping hand, your contribution helps us carry out our mission to love God, love others, and make disciples.
Please prayerfully consider how you can support the mission.
